How it works

A storage system, built in layers

Bag'in SunGuard is the same system as Nordic: a ventilated base and a top cover joined by a zipper that runs all the way round, in a light-reflective fabric for the summer season.

  1. 1Deck boards: air flows in from underneath
  2. 2Ventilated base lets moisture out and keeps dirt away
  3. 3Fill it to the top: stack the whole set up to 100 cm
  4. 4DryTop Protect mesh between furniture and cover (accessory)
  5. 5Top cover: 600D Oxford polyester with light-reflective TPU film, 10,000 mm water column
  6. 6Zipper all the way round: both pulls right of the red arrow, triangles aligned, carabiner lock
  7. 7Two drawstrings pull the cover tight
  8. 8Air vents in every corner, six on XL
  9. 9Corner loops for the Storm Anchor strap

The fabric

Four layers between the sun and your furniture

Rain beads off the top finish. The 600D weave takes the wear and the sun. The light-reflective TPU film stops water and keeps the heat out. Tap a layer to see what it does.

  • Makes water bead and run off instead of soaking in.

  • Oxford weave, 280 g/m², tear strength 1400 N. Light fastness grade 7 to 8, built for sun exposure.

  • Bonds the film to the weave so the layers move as one when the fabric folds and flexes.

  • The waterproof barrier behind the 10,000 mm rating. Reflects heat and reduces the temperature under the cover by up to 15 °C compared with dark covers.

  • A mesh spacer laid over the furniture before the cover goes on. It keeps air moving between cover and furniture, and protects both from rubbing against each other.

Ventilation

Air in at the bottom, out at the corners

A closed cover without airflow traps moisture. Bag'in rests on the deck boards, so air enters through the ventilated base, rises past the furniture and leaves through the corner vents, four on S to L and six on XL. That reduces condensation and the risk of mould.

  1. 1Keep at least 20 cm to walls and fences
  2. 2Ventilated base on the deck boards: air in, moisture out
  3. 3Corner vents release the moist air
  4. 4Fill the cover, air still moves in the gaps and along the walls
