We wanted to create a commercial that illustrated typical Scandinavian weather with rain and autumn storms by filming in Norwegian nature with mountains and valleys, weather and wind. The idea was for people to recognize themselves in the Scandinavian climate while demonstrating how well Bag'in works in this tough weather. And of course, how you can relax with peace of mind knowing your outdoor furniture is well protected by Bag'in.

There are plenty of ad agencies and film companies that could've helped us with this, but we chose to find someone who dared to think differently and could have relatively free rein during production. And naturally, someone with an efficient work process since we were tight on time for the launch. We got a tip about Martin Lux, who's self-employed and a promising filmmaker in Norway. He's only 22 and has a bright future ahead.

"He got a really simple brief, just some key words about the content, then he created everything on his own from there. He wrote all the text for the film, handled directing, production, actors, sound and lighting, music, and hired the right narrator voice."

Too nice weather

"On the actual shooting day, the weather was way too nice – it was sunny and I thought we were done for. How Martin managed to turn sunshine into a storm, I have no idea," he concludes.
